A lovely, tart, fresh, mouth-watering NS rose made from a blend of Leon Millot and Marquette grapes. Aromas of tart cherry and wild strawberry. Medium-bodied with racy acidity for seafood.

Reviews and Ratings

Jon Steeves - Sommelier rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Bright and brilliant cranberry juice red. Off dry, with wild strawberry aromas and cranberry on the palate. Pairs with toast turkey dinner or goat cheese and toasted almond topped spinach salad. Tasted 2016 vintage in July 2018. 86 points
Jennifer reviewed this wine as follows:

2012 Rose made from Leon Millot grapes. Deep rose colour, w/ pink highlights. Delightful aromas of cherry, plum, honey apple. Just a hint of sweetness, balanced and finish is soft. Pair w/ a goat cheese, or an afternoon on the deck!

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
