Produced by Simon Waghorn, the wine is dry, medium-bodied with brilliant acidity with fresh peach, tropical fruit, citrus zest and subtle spicy notes silky and concentrated on the palate. So good now.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Pale yellow colour with bright gooseberry, peach and chive aromas with flavours of splashy pomelo citrus and zesty minerals on the mouthwatering finish. Love the lingering stony mineral notes! A brilliant pairing with grilled herbed fish and turkey. - tasted February 2024
Produced from sustainably-grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes sourced from the Wairau Valley, Awatere Valley and Kekerengu Coast, Astrolabe 2022 is dry, concentrated and zesty with bright citrus, apple, white-fleshed stone fruit, gooseberry, fine herb flavours and a briny mineral finish. So zesty and good now. Drink to 2027. - Community Wine Reviews
