A fantastic, full-bodied, buttery Chilean Chardonnay, especially at this price! Round, rich, mouth-filling with enticing aromas of butterscotch, toasty oak, fresh apple, peach and pear. Match this wine with roasted chicken or pork chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Cherie Cole rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

The 2014 Arboleda Chardonnay grapes were sourced from the Chilhue vineyard in the Aconcagua Valley. Once harvested, the grapes were fermented in French oak for up to 20 days where it underwent 80% malolactic fermentation. The wine was then aged in old French oak barrels for 10 months.

The aroma and flavors consist of lively citrus-lemon, green apple, pear, almonds with a refreshing mineral note. This great value wine is medium-bodied with a crisp acidity which contributes to its long age ability of up to seven years.

Tasted at the Errazuriz Estate in Chile's Aconcagua Valley with winemaker Emily Faulconer: January 12, 2016.
