Drop-dead gorgeous! One of the world’s great wines to try before you die. Generous aromas of dark fruit, exotic spice, mint, and savoury meaty notes. Such incredible resonance across the palate: the flavours just play with each other for your pleasure. Then it all finishes in a spectacular fireworks of flavour and hedonism.
Food pairings: grilled chicken, veal medallions, lamb in a red wine sauce, roasted pork loin, grilled tuna with a pepper crust.

|Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 96/100 with the following review:|
Wow! This could be one of the finest wines you’ll ever taste. Deep ruby in colour, with a black-ish core, this is a deep and robust wine. The nose shows luscious raisin, fig, and prune, baking spice, dried herbs, the sweet fruit reminiscent of fine port. Such depth and complexity in this Super Tuscan. Incredible layers of dried fruits, vanilla, baking spices, herbs, and black licqorice, the list goes on and on, like the never ending heart warming finish. Soft and well structured, it's beautiful now and I can only imagine what it can evolve to in the years to come. 96 points. Tasted March 2015. Matt Steeves - www.quercusvino.ca

Perhaps at the top of my list as one of the best wines I've ever had the pleasure to taste. A brilliant deep ruby garnet in the glass with slow extracting legs. The SuperTuscan nose has Port-like qualities such as dark cherry, prune, black plum(like just bitten),raspberry, sweet spices, violets, vanilla, earth. The palate is pure silk with repeated fruit along with cedar, toast, toffee and mocha. So complex yet so elegant. This is a gorgeous wine to sip and savour now but there's potential for more ageing - 10++ years. This wine is a collectors must-have. Long warming finish. I want finer cut of grilled beef with this wine...or on it's own.

An opaque dark garnet red with viscous legs and an aromatic nose with ripe red berry fruit, violets, vanilla and fresh earth. The beautifully melodious palate shows ripe red fruit, subtle spice and forest floor. Velvety, rich mouthfeel and a satiny finish. Wine heaven!
|This unfiltered full-bodied Italian red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese and Cabernet Franc grapes is a classic from one of the country's most respected producers. A Super Tuscan, or Turbo Tuscan, worth trying. Pair with prime rib. - Community Wine Reviews|
