Juicy and medium- to almost full-bodied. Lovely black cherry, dark spice and violets on the nose. Aromatic and fascinating. Great price for pinot. Would be great with fresh seafood seared. Yum!

Pinot Noir food pairings: roast duck, herb-coated lamb in a red wine sauce.

Nick Onischuk - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The Alfredo Roca Reserva De Familia Pinot Noir 2010 is a great value pinot noir. This medium bodied wine features aromas and flavours of cherry, spice and earthiness. Tasted June 27, 2014 (89/100)
Lots of oak and dark fruits on the nose. The palate offers up really nice cherry and blackberry fruit, with oak, beet and earthy tones providing significant weight to the flavours. Round tannins and a cherry-rich finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, April 2012

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
