Matt Steeves - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ruby red in colour, the nose shows black cherry, raspberry, vanilla, baking spices, and dried herbs. Raspberry preserve with dried herbs on the palate. Well balanced with lively fruit, refreshing acidity, and tannins to complement a wide range of meals. My choice, spicy Italian sausage wood-fired pizza. Ontario Gamay Noir based reds are fantastic alternatives to Pinot Noir, especially when blended with hearty red varietals like Red Palette is. Tasted August 2015 and February 2016. 89 points. Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This red blend is always fun and approachable. Easily sipped on it's own or served with your favourite BBQ options. A lovely medium weight red wine with red fruit, chocolate, baking spices, floral and cologne. Medium+ refreshing acidity with a long juicy red fruit finish. Perfect hostess gift for that Labour Day BBQ you're invited to attend.
Tasted: August 2015
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Light floral and fruity upfront, with a kick of spice in the finish. This wine shows moderate acidity, moderate tannins, a nice balanced, and a moderate finish. Overall, This is a pretty easy drinking . Showcase this crowd pleaser at you next girl's night! @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
Jane Staples - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Garnet red with a nose of raspberries, cherry liqueur and a hint of dark chocolate,. The palate gives cherry liqueur, dark chocolate, slight baking slice and a touch of green pepper, followed by a tangy red fruit finish.
The reference to a painter's palette here alludes to winemaker J-P Cola's artistic blending of mostly Merlot and Gamay grapes, along with smaller amounts of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah grapes, all grown in Niagara. Finishes with mocha and smoke. - Community Wine Reviews
