Juicy ripe cherry. Orange peel finish. A robust Niagara rosé with aromas of rhubarb and cranberry on the nose that follow through on the dry, mouth-watering palate. Good acidity for food. Finishes with pink grapefruit and clementine. Pair this wine with lightly spiced or curried dishes.

Rosé food pairings: charcuterie, pork or mushroom burgers, bean salads, salty cheeses like pecorino or asiago.

13Th Street Pink Palette 2017 is wonderful value for this robust and zesty rosé from the Niagara Peninsula wine region. Look for juicy red cherries, rhubarb, cranberry and bell pepper flavours on this made-mostly from Cabernet Franc rosé, Pair it with smoked salmon, goat cheese and arugula pizza. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
