Lush with ripe dark fruits, tobacco leaf, garrigue herbs, vanilla, smoky and spicy on the palate. Perfect for burgers and ribs from the grill.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Aromas of blackberry and blueberry with hints of tobacco, smoke, vanilla and spice. Full bodied, smooth on the palate, with ripe jammy fruit, just enough acidity for balance and hints of vanilla and smoke on the finish. Enjoy with grilled burgers and sausages.
Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This California Cabernet Sauvignon stars big notes of ripe dark fruits - especially cherries - in harmony with small scale expressions of tobacco, dried herbs, smoke, and sweet vanilla.

Unapologetically full bodied and its a.b.v. is over 14%, however, this creation did not steamroll over my palate. The mouth feel is bold and a touch warm, but it is also velvety, desert dry, with fresh acidity, and polished tannins with a modest grip.

I’ll serve this with ribs or smoked meats.
