Gormaz Winery 12 Linajes Reserva Tempranillo 2007, Ribero Del Duero, Spain: A full-bodied, ultra dry Spanish red wine made from Tempranillo grapes, also known as Tinta del Pais in Spain. Attractive aromas and flavours od dust, earth, tanned leather, dried tobacco leaves and smoke with some dried herbs and black fruit on the finish. Pair with lamb and rosemary. Valdelacierva Crianza 2011, Rioja Do, Spain: Lots of dark fruit and dusty earthon the nose of this Spanish red wine made from Tempranillo grapes in the Riajo region. The winery owns 200 hectares of vines. Maceration after fermentation lasts about 2-3 weeks. The wine is aged in French and American oak barrels for a minimum of 6 months. Pair with a rare steak.
