A full-bodied, ultra dry Spanish red wine made from Tempranillo grapes, also known as Tinta del Pais in Spain. Attractive aromas and flavours od dust, earth, tanned leather, dried tobacco leaves and smoke with some dried herbs and black fruit on the finish. Pair with lamb and rosemary.

Tempranillo food pairings: game dishes, roasted and grilled meats.

The Gormaz Winery was founded in 1972, and is one of the original co-founders of the officially certified winemaking region of Ribera del Duero and the only one to be located in the province of Soria. The grapes for this wine are sources from 530 hectares of estate vines owned by the winery and planted at an altitude of 900 metres above sea level. They are an average of 80 to 90 years old.
93 POINTS WINE ADVOCATE # 205, FEB'13
By Dean Martin
The 2007 Doce Linajes Reserva comes from 50-year-old vines aged for 24 months in new and used French oak. There is a touch of volatility on the nose, but it just adds to the animation on the aromatics and complements the kirsch and dark cherry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with sweet ripe, succulent tannins, although overall it is a very feminine, lithe, dare I say nubile, wine with a caressing pure finish. Gorgeous! Drink now-2020.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
