Red Wine

Irony Merlot 2010, Napa Valley, California, United States: Juicy, full-bodied and bursting with aromas of dark fleshy berries and plums. Nicely balanced and ultra smooth. A judicious time in oak barrels brings this wine together with some toasty notes and vanilla spice on the finish. It would be great with hearty meat dishes. Drink: 2012-2015. 183186 14.50% D 750 mL  $19.95 Score: 88/100. May 11, 2013 Best Beef Wine Full Review

White Wine

Flor De Vetus Verdejo 2012, D.O., Rueda, Spain: Bone-dry and refreshing with bright lemon notes. Medium-bodied. Great aperitif or companion to shellfish. Amazing price. Drink: 2013-2015. 320259 12.50% XD 750 mL  $14.95 Score: 88/100. May 11, 2013 Best Value White Wine. Splendid Salad Wine Full Review
