Pelee Island Winery Vinedresser Chardonnay 2017, Lake Erie North Shore, South Islands, Ontario V.Q.A., Canada: From Pelee Island Winery, Vinedressers 2017 Chardonnay is vegan-friendly and produced from sustainably grown grapes from the South Islands, Lake Erie North Shore wine region. Fragrant with ripe apple, pear, quince, lemon zest, nutty, toasty oak and vanilla flavours silky and lithe on the palate. Very nicely done as is the price at $20. Chardonnay food pairings: Poached salmon in a butter sauce, Spaghetti Alle Vongole, Caesar salad, tuna pasta bake, salads topped with mild hard cheese like Edam or Fontina.
