Ravanal Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon 2017, Colchagua Valley, Chile: From the Colchagua Valley. Ravanal 2017 is a full-bodied Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon, deep violet in glass with rich blackberry, earth violets and pepper spice aromas on the nose. Elegant with ripe dark plums, blackberries, raspberries with plenty of cedar spice and toasty oak flavours on the palate from ageing one year in French and American oak barrels. Richter Elisenberg Vineyard Riesling 2018, Mosel Pr├Ądikatswein, Germany: Elisenberger Riesling Kabinett 2018 is flinty with citrus, petrol and mineral aromas on the nose, lush and mouth-filling with a mouth-watering and amazingly long finish. So well-crafted and at 8.5% abv (50 g/l residual sugar), you can have a couple of glasses of this delish Riesling. Drink or hold. Pour with a veal schnitzel and schupfnudeln.
