Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

This lovely Chenin Blanc hails from Loire’s Vouvray AOC, one of the best regions in the world for producing the wines from this varietal. Bougrier Chenin Blanc is a true delight and a fantastic value at this price point. Beautiful aromatic and just off-dry with luxurious mouthfeel. Pronounced aromas and flavours of orchard fruits and quince. Well balanced acidity and lingering finish. Perfectly matched with patés, roasted chicken and shellfish, or simply as a delightful aperitif. Tasted July 2017. Tania Thomas – www.runawaygrape.com
Jay Denney rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

A delightful fall white at a great price! Ripe with classic green apple and pear. Crisp acid to balance the fruit. Perfect with the modern take on crab rangoon we paired it with.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 24th 2018. We drank this before dinner with scallops. Great value, refreshing and easy to drink. Great match with our scallops. Golden colour, off dry, light body, mouthwatering. Aromas and flavours of lemon, yellow apple and pear. Good value.
