Reviews and Ratings

Andrea Shapiro rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

A deep inky purple colour with incandescent ruby reflections. Pronounced aromas reveal blackcurrants, red plums, licorice, anise, toasted vanilla beans, and tri-blend peppercorns. Flavours function well revealing cherries, cooked strawberries, cassis, leather, cinnamon and a touch of cayenne heat and spice box wood notes. Medium acidity, integrate with round, agile tannins. Dried herbs continue into the medium finish. Well balanced. No decanting needed, ready to drink upon opening. Pair with rare roast beef au jus and horseradish. 90 points - tasted April 2018
Clairmont Classique 2015 is a well-priced Crozes-Hermitage from the Rhône wine region. Lots of ripe black fruit, ripe raspberry, smooth tannins and fresh acidity on this under $20 Rhône red. Drink now and for the next three years. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
