Reviews and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

An outstanding, award winning red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot - complex, elegant, and sophisticated. Plump raspberry, fine cherry and earth; a great accompaniment to steaks on the grill.
Wineboy rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

I haven't been as impressed with 2010 Bordeaux as others are, but I'm coming around. 2010's seem to have just needed time to shine. This one shows that. What a nose !! Today the star element is the bouquet, floral, raspberries and gravel. I'm recommending you keep this one - 3 more years. 2021.
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted March 2, 2018. Ruby red plus. Legs thick minus. Aromas and flavours of raspberry, red currant, red cherry, smoke and a hint of bay leaf. Taste, dry, mouthwatering, medium body plus, grippy tannin. Finish is fruity and long. I like this wine because it leads with the Cabernet Sauvignon and is rounded out with the Merlot. This is a nice example of Left Bank Bordeaux. A pleasure to drink. Expensive but worth the money. A special occasion wine. I drank it on its own. I think it would be a hit with an expensive cut of beef. So glad I had the pleasure of trying this wine. My wife loved it, worth every penny to her.
From Baron Edmond de Rothschild, prop. Chateau Clarke 2010 is a spectacular red wine blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from Listrac-Médoc in the Bordeaux wine region. Look for ripe raspberry, blackberry and toasty oak flavours on the palate. Long finish and tannins are well-integrated. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
