Carolyn scored this wine: 91/100

Tart cherry with light tar and leather undertones on the nose leading to a medium-bodied, smooth palate. Tannins are fine and mouth-coating so plan to enjoy with Braciole or Saltimbocca alla Romana from 2025.

A fine Brunello example here with all the expected cherry and spice notes. Good weight and concentration in a silky, elegant package with outstanding length. Enjoy with Osso Buco Milanese. Tasted Nov 2023 thewineloverskitchen.com

Carolyn scored this wine: 92/100

This is showing lots of young fruity notes on the nose and palate. Lots of promise here underneath the mouthcoating tannins. It needs time to soften and together. Drink from 2024 with spaghetti or osso buco. Tasted Nov 2023 thewineloverskitchen.com

Carolyn scored this wine: 94/100

This is an attractive, classic Brunello. The nose is still tight and slow to offer up its fruity notes, so the burst of morello cherry on the palate from the onset is a welcome touch. This is nicely structured and silky from start to finish. Pair with vegetable lasagne or pasta with fresh tomato sauce. Length is outstanding. Drink from 2026.
