Janet scored this wine: 96/100

This full bodied and very smooth red wine has aromas of dark plums, blackberries, cassis and secondary aromas of vanilla, cedar, earth, baking spice and violet. On the palate, the mouth feel is luscious with dark jammy fruits, leather, vanilla, smoke, cedar, and dark chocolate. A delicious wine with a long finish.

Janet scored this wine: 93/100

I had the good fortune to pick this 2015 small lot sparkling wine up at the BB vineyard last November. It has intense aromas of honey, apple, citrus, almonds and toast. On the palate it is very nutty with stone minerality and notes of lemon and apple. This wine is great on its own and also pairs well with shellfish like seared scallops.

Laundry Vineyard

Janet scored this wine: 92/100

This Niagara Cabernet Franc has aromas of ripe raspberries, cherries, cedar and herbs like rosemary and oregano. It is a very food friendly wine with balanced tannins. It would pair well with BBQ beef, pork, hard cheeses and wood oven pizza.

Janet scored this wine: 92/100

This medium bodied red wine has aromas of ripe cherry, tobacco, cedar and vanilla. On the palate it is smooth and velvety with notes of cherry and raspberry, layered with leather, earth, vanilla, cedar, tomato stem and dried herbs like oregano. This wine was delicious paired with a baked lasagna.

Nova 7

Benjamin Bridge Nova 7 Sparkling 2018

Nova Scotia, Canada

Janet scored this wine: 91/100

This slightly effervescent off-dry wine has wonderful aromas of peach, pear, apricot, lemon, lychee, tropical fruit and fresh ginger. There are also floral and honey aromas. It is very light, and fruity on the palate, with fresh acidity. The flavours of tropical fruit and ripe tree fruits blend nicely with flavours of fresh ginger and some minerality. Just delicious on its own, or would be nice with sushi and wasabi!
