A wonderful full body red wine that will leave a lasting memory from the bouquet, to taste to finish. A fine bouquet of truffle, black berries, and spice will greet your nose. Well balanced tannins with ripe plum and black cherries and spices blend together to give you a velvety and satisfying drink. The finish just keeps giving long after the enjoyment of the wine. Overall, it is an outstanding wine! It pairs very well with lamb or other fatty meat.

Alegra Crianza is a robust full body red wine. Blackberry on the nose, with hints of plum and leather, makes you think that you are walking in a boreal forest. Dark berries, oak, and vanilla flavours combine with a long rounded finish, makes this wine ideal for venison, pepper steak of other strong red meat.

Alegra Joven is a wonderfully approachable red wine. Nothing is over the top. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks giving it a bright purple colour and very fine tannins. The wine introduces itself with violet flowers and dark berries on the nose. It then follows with a combined black and raspberry palate, and a vibrant finish. It pairs beautifully with pork and red meat and prosciutto.

Alegra Verdejo is a beautiful white wine made of 100% verdejo grapes. The word “Alegra” is Spanish for “Cheerful” and is a character of the wine that burst to the forefront with every sip. Think of it as a happy glass of wine and you won’t go wrong. It has a light herbal and nutty palate and a well-balanced acidity, with field flowers on the nose, and a crisp mineral finish. It pairs very well with smoked salmon, or other seafood.

Three Dog Winery. Dog House White Light on the nose with fresh peach notes. It’s a refreshingly crisp blend of Vidal and Reisling. Light yellow in colour with a medium finish. Pairs well with sharp cheese and seafood.

Unusual Wine Experience

Attending the Burgundy Wine School in Beaune, France for a 3 hour lesson. It was very immersive and difficult to only "taste" the myriad of amazing wines instead of "drink" all of them.
