Lydia scored this wine: 94/100

A medium ruby colour in the glass leading to medium plus intensity on the nose and palate, showing blackberry, black cherry, bitter dark chocolate with stewed strawberry, sweet vanilla and spice with hints of toast. On the palate the wine shows medium plus acid, alcohol, body and length. The tannins are also medium plus and slightly chalky. Overall a really delicious wine with the ability to continue to develop in bottle over the next 4 plus years. This wine would pair beautifully with mom's roast beef dinner and Yorkshire pud.

Lydia scored this wine: 97/100

A beautiful, clean medium lemon colour showing pronounced intensity on the nose and palate with bruised red apples and crisp green apples, a hint on honey, yeasty (flor) notes with salt and wet stone minerality. On the palate the wine showed strong mouth watering acid with medium intensity of alcohol and medium plus length. A very good Chenin Blanc with great complexity and well integrated youthful fruit with developed flavours. This wine is ready to drink now but can be kept in the cellar for a few years.
