Incredible wine. This is like an orange wine disguised as a rose. On the nose, aromas of rosewater with spices, dry fruits and red fruit cocktail. In addition bitter organge. All this wrapped up in a coating of dry herbs and dusty minerality with a topping of animal, earthy and herbal nuances. In the mouth, fresh and alive. SO drinkable and digest. Beautiful acidity with an incredible depth of flavors. Perfect elegance. Long and caressing finish reminding me of confit strawberries. Very dangerous wine to drink. The best rose tasted so far in wine drinking years

French in spirit but with solid Tuscan roots. This monovarietal merlot display a breathtaking tour de force bouquet of considerable dimension. Difficult to put into words, the nose reveal an infinite continuum of mineral of iron slate aromas gunpowder and black truffle. It is just the prelude for the deep layered, luxurious, vivid black fruit that comes and makes waves in your head. The end, if there is really an end brings to mind disconcerting notes of mediterranean herbs, lavish oak and ethereal animal notes. In the mouth, this work of art presents a magnificent deepness of concentration, glossy tannins an a perfect acidity. Masseto 2011 will outlive all of us.

Spearmint, dry black fruits. Dry blood and iron. Porcini cream, dead mountain leaves. Round, mature tannins. A cendrillon elegance. Flavors bring to mind gunpowder, chai and english breakfast tea. Opulent finale.

Smoke. Violets, red fruit. Fascinating. Mind blogging animal and flower aromas. Game. Eucalyptus. Racy, quite powerful with game notes. Long and powerful

Fascinating nose. Quartz, citronella, meyon lemer, honey, smoke and almond cream. Creamy with an incredible lenght. Pure and poetic. Exhuberant with bitter herbs. Very spicy. Although oak needs to be integrated but it is a monument of a wine.
