At 13.95 this wine is a steal! A dark ruby wine with a cherry rim it fills the mouth with blackberry, cassis and just a hint of chocolate. The finnish is long, mouth watering and lip smacking.This is a great wine to complement lamb chops, or perfect on these cold winter nights to drink beside the fire with a good peice of older cheddar.

Complex and highly perfumed nose loaded with blackberry, black current, plum and baking spices. Rich, ripe and mouth filling with well integrated tannins and a powerful yet beautiful finish that just go on and on.

Ruby with a garnet rim, a complex nose of cherries, cassis, cinnamon hearts,leather,oak and fall leaves. The long finnish left the impression of dried cherries and black currants. An excellent wine drinking well now but still with years left.

Beautiful, complex aromas of honey, apricot, pineapple and lemon pie. Creamy and full in the mouth with a long clean finish. This wine was a joy to drink and was excellent with Creme Brulee.

Unfortunately, this wine was slightly oxidized but was still showing golden apple, pineapple, nuts and butter on the nose. Mouth filling texture with flavours of hazelnuts, baking spices, butter and caramel. Ended with a long finish. If it had not have been for the oxidation this wine would have merited a score of 92.
