Alice scored this wine: 94/100

Very pale lemon green and bright in clarity with small tears. Clean with light intensity of melons and minerality. Roses and light white pepper spice predominate the aroma with some grassiness . Pronounced lemons and limes in the mouth, with an impression of an juicy medium+ acidity, low alcohol, medium minus body and long soft finish of melons. Excellent value for the price. Could be paired with light cream sauces.

Alice scored this wine: 94/100

Appears clear, very pale, lemon green with small tears light nose with floral and citrus overtones of oranges, roses, lemon grass and white pepper; dry with medium alcohol, mimics the citrus of the nose, with generous but soft sweet orange, lime and grapefruit. This Pinot Blanc offers refreshing acidity and a long finish with sweet limes. Excellent value. Suggested accompaniment to light seafood dishes.

Alice scored this wine: 92/100

Bright pale lemon with aromas of minerality, melons, red apple and vanilla. This Mouton Cadet is a modest representative of the elegant expression of Bordeaux whites. Long soft finish of refreshing acidity and red McIntosh apples. Excellent value for the price. Lovely on its own or with lightly-spiced appetizers and mild cheeses, or with fresh water fish dishes.

Cheval Noir 2012

Alice scored this wine: 91/100

Deep and bright ruby colour with a Bordeaux nose of cassis, cedar and eucalyptus. A mouthfeel of light fruits and dry tannins with a medium acidity that lasts and finishes on cherry notes. The subtle merlot flavours are overwhelmed by tannin but emerge with the finish. A bargain at the price, certainly a wine to purchase and pay down for another 5 - 8 years and to enjoy with rich sauces and meats.

Alice scored this wine: 89/100

Medium ruby with aromas of cherries, plums and strawberries and hints of biscuit, chocolate and coffee. A creamy mouthfeel with medium acids and supple tannins. Medium bodied, this Chianti has a long pleasant finish. To be drunk today or the near future with pomodoro sauces and dry cheese.
