I am truly fortunate to have enjoyed Mission Hill Family Estates 2009 Perpetua Chardonnay, paired with some weighty scallops (U-10) in a butter sauce. The nose and palate revealed many nuances over the course of a few hours. I love its concentration and notes of vanilla, baked apple, toasty brioche and ginger. Enjoy the 2009 vintage for a few more years, 2017.
