Aromas of blackberry, earth, plum, dried thyme and mint. Blackberry dominates the palate, with notes of earth, vanilla, mint, chocolate and fresh herbs. Well structured and a long finish, this is a delightful wine from a challenging vintage. Tasted October 2021.

Aromas of blackberry, cassis, green bell pepper and mint. Dark fruit all over the palate, with well balanced acidity and a nice finish. A treat at this price.

Aromas of ripe red cherry, forest floor, smoke, leather. Smooth and supple tannins, flavors of cherry and smoke. Medium to long finish. Grapes from the Eagle Bluff Vineyard.

Aromas of blueberry, blackberry, smoke and black pepper. Flavors are similar, dominated by black fruit. Finishes long and lovely, but it needs another 2-3 years to really develop. Give this some time and pair with a big piece of red meat. You won't be sorry.

This has an intriguing aroma of a freshly opened paint can mixed with grape jelly, followed by fresh black pepper. Black fruit dominates the palate, with notes of earth and mushroom. Very nice but if you can wait a year or two, it will certainly improve with proper cellaring.
