Gabbiano Gabbiano Castle Vineyard Pinot Grigio 2011

Tuscany, Italy

Cathy scored this wine: 71/100

This is simply a cheap, great tasting, crisp, pinot grigio perfect for a hot summer's day. Screw top makes it simple and quick to get at in case of emergency. Screw top also makes it suitable to store in the fridge if you are unable to finish the bottle.

Memorable Wine

The bad ones...

First Wine

Kressman red. I would have been about 12 years old.

Unusual Wine Experience

I am sure it would be a bottle of red I opened at the top of Everst and shared with my Sherpa guide back in 1992. We had a Hibatchi and roasted some yak. It was delicious. A bit hard to breathe. But the view was amazing.

Current Fav Wine

All of the them. I have no favourites.
