Danielle scored this wine: 86/100

Arresting vibrant medium pink in the glass. Medium+ aromas of pomegranate, tangerine, strawberry, and parmesan. This wine was dry and of medium+ acidity. Flavors of cranberry, apple, and yuzu dominate. The finish seemed short, punctuated by a slight tannic bite. This wine was a good value and serviceably paired with roast duck and brown rice.

Nose reminiscent of white peaches, crocus, and candied pineapple. Medium bodied, the palate shows orange pith, peach, white flowers, and a chalky minerality. We found it benefited from a good chill as the medium acidity made it seem flabby as it warmed a little in our glasses. Overall, a good wine at a good price. Pair with lower acid white fish or chicken preparations and have an ice bucket handy.

Danielle scored this wine: 89/100

Delicate nose showing pear, quince, artichoke, almond, white flowers, and wet stones. Very mineral on the palate with a slightly oily mouthfeel. Fleshed out with flavors of honeydew, pear, and sesame. Medium bodied, bone dry, and with bright acidity, this wine paired beautifully with miso sablefish and black rice. Oily fish (mackerel, sardines) would really make this godello stand out.

Danielle scored this wine: 92/100

Deep ruby core fading to a bright cherry red rim. This wine displays strong legs indicative of the 15% a.b.v. Very expressive on the nose with pronounced aromas of black raspberry, maraschino, truffle, tobacco, leather, cocoa nibs, and wet soil. This wine is dry, with medium+ body , medium+ acidity, and fine, firm tannins. On the palate it shows even more red fruit character with flavors of pomegranate, wild strawberry, green peppercorn, sour cherry and red current, black tea, and black olive. The long finish compliments this wine's complex nature. This wine paired beautifully with a wagyu bresaola. It had more than enough acidity, richness, and structure to compliment a fatty, unctuous meat. Would easily recommend with duck or game.
