This is a limited supply via LCBO Classics. On the nose. Vanilla, Black cherry, Plums, baking spice, earth, cedar. On the pallet. Strong black cherry, dark berry, plums Very nice mouthfeel, balanced, Mid+ Acid, Mid+ tannins, Mid+ finish. Full body wine, worth the price.

This is the top rated wine from this winery that also makes ruby and tawny ports. On the nose, bursting with cherry, and raspberry, and ripe berries. A bit of earth and dust rounds the nose. On the palate, if you like cherry, this is your wine. A burst of flavor, with replays of the cherry and berry, baking spice, nice acid, well-integrated tannins. Long finish and a well-rounded palate. This wine is made from their Old Vines (Vinhas Velhas). Sagrado also produces their VT line which is 20$ cheaper and quite remarkable as well.

On the nose: Typical Pino, floral (rose petals), forest floor, cigar box, earthy, cherry, raspberry, tobacco. Taste: Cherry, strawberry, tobacco, cedar. Great mouthfeel, well balanced, with a medium long finish, nice acidity and well rounded.

I love the smell of this wine. On the nose, dark fruit, cassis, vanilla, dark cherry, blueberry, prune, leather, barn, smoke, tobacco leaf, cigar box, earthy. Taste of cherry, tobacco, and cassis are primary. A bit peppery/spicy on the finish Balanced, mid+ acid, mid+ tannins, mid-long finish with cherry and cassis. A nice wine and will pair well with grilled meat.
