Sister's Run Old Testament 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a consistent crowd pleaser and excellent value as well at $19. The Coonawarra is known for its red iron-oxide terra Rossa soils, one of the most distinct terroirs and The Old Testament vineyard is located in the heart of that wine region. Intense with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, spicy notes rich and elegant with balanced acidity on the palate. Tannins are easy and this Coonawarra red is ready for ribs and burgers from the grill. Drink to 2030.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: pizza topped with steak strips, rib steak, slow-braised brisket.

Reviews and Ratings

Sister's Run Old Testament 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon is a dry, fruity and full-bodied Coonawarra Cab with character! Fresh and fragrant with ripe dark fruits, cassis, menthol, black licorice, bay and savoury herb flavours, the wine is plushy and concentrated on the palate. A solid Coonawarra Cab made for anything you can throw at it from the barbie and excellent value $20! Drink to 2030. With an abundance of gum trees in the region, sap and pollen from the trees spread to the nearby grape vineyards, imparting floral, menthol and camphor character to the wines. - Community Wine Reviews
