Lemon sunshine and chives on the nose and palate of this French white wine from the Sancerre region of the Loire Valley and made from the Sauvignon Blanc grape. Lots of racy acidity for shellfish.

Reviews and Ratings

Andrew Bernardo rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This is the best Sancerre I've had in 2017. Exqusite minerality, lots of chalk and ground oyster shell. This wine features notes of green apple, lemon, gooseberry, unripe tropical green fruit. The acidity is not mouth-puckering, which is nice. The wine shows tremendous length. 93 points. (www.ottawawinejournal.com)
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Holy delicious! A remarkable racy and minerally Sancerre with clean juicy citrus notes and a long mouthwatering finish. Enjoy with freshly shucked oysters. Tasted Sept 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketastings.ca
This wine is a zesty and mouth-watering Sancerre from the Loire wine region. Roblin Ammonites (2014) is so named after the shells from the crustaceans found in chalky soils of the Sancerre. Try it with grilled seafood. - Community Wine Reviews
