A seductive hallway of black fruit invitation wafts up from the glass - careful not to dive in head first. Full-bodied with lots of layers and complexity. Surprisingly good structure so this one should also last in the cellar. Why wait though?

Malcolm Lamont - WSET Adv, CSW rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

Yummm! What an attractive nose. It shows, strawberry jam, cedar, and some sweet American oak aromas, notably vanilla, clove and coconut.
Concentrated and tasty but dry and well balanced on the palate. This wine is a real winner!
This blockbuster Argentine red blends 50% Tempranillo, 30% Malbec and 20% Merlot. Amazingly ripe and deep wine from 2004, so it’s all that it’s going to be. Thick and figgy aromas bring bacon, mint and cool, cushiony cola notes. The palate is mega-saturated with chocolaty oak and dark berry power galore. Remains oaky on the finish; a massive wine to drink now through 2017. Score: 93 Source: Michael Schachner, Wine Enthusiast
