This juicy, fruit-forward sangria bursts with ripe strawberry, cherry and orange zest. It’s medium-bodied, slightly sweet, with a refreshing 6.5% alcohol. Serve it well chilled with grilled shrimp skewers brushed in a citrus glaze or alongside a classic margherita pizza for a vibrant match. Fascinating fact: Winemaker Tony Mastronardi crafts this crowd-pleaser at one of Ontario’s first family-run wineries on the North Shore, known for its sunny microclimate that ripens grapes beautifully. This sangria delivers terrific value and I’d rate it 90 points.

Reviews and Ratings

Craig Haynes - WSET3 FWS SWS IWS rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Loads of tropical fruit, citrus, and savoury red cherry headline the show in my glass.

Just 6.6% ABV, this ready to drink sangria is Mastronardi Estate’s own blend of fruit juices, Ontario grown fruit, plus the wine grape Baco Noir (harvested from the Estate’s vineyards). This one's a thirst quencher for those hot, humid summer days.

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Perfect as the hot weather arrives, enjoy this ready-crafted sangria loaded with fruit and ice. This has been made with Baco Noir and fruit juices, and shows lots of lovely red berry notes. Enjoy on you patio or at the beach!
