Lovely fleshy ripe dark cherries on the nose of this southern French red wine from Burgundy's Beaujolais region. Lots of mouth-watering acidity on the palate for tangy sauces and chicken.

Food pairings: roast chicken, roast quail stuffed with wild mushrooms, onion risotto.

This is a decent, aromatic wine with a lot of vibrant fruit. It claims a climat (or terroir of special significance) on the label: Climat Le Tracot. Though, it is not a cru Beaujolais, it is a quality village level.
Pretty ruby-red, woth pink amd purple at the rim.
Candy floss, apple skin, raspberry, and bramble jump out of the aromas.
Keep this wine a little cooler than others, to keep tjose fresh fruit at their most impactful (12°C). Lots more red and black berroes. Rhubarb and strawberry too. Nice acidity.
Pair with marinated pork loin.
It is different from many equivalently priced cru Beaujolais because it sees partial carbonic maceration. This process uses enzymatic fermentation to extract colour and fruitiness without tannin. It makes for tasty albeit short-lived wines. While there are the occasional cru Beauj that does this, the better ones stick to traditional fermentation and firm pressing to produce wines of structure. This is lighter and more cheerful. This is Beaujolais' Marsannay, in Burgundian parlance.

This light-bodied Red has aromas of ripe sun-soaked strawberries, blueberries and field berries as well as delicate dried petals. It has silky tannins with flavours of tart plums and sour cherries. It is not overly complex yet still very enjoyable!

Climat Le Tracot 2015 is a Beaujolais Villages that underwent a semi-carbonic maceration for 15 days before maturation in vat. The wine is medium-bodied Gamay with dark cherry and ripe red berry flavours. This Beaujolais village is well-structured with fine, chalky tannins.
