The Cabernet Franc wine grape is well suited to the Niagara Peninsula wine region, and Inniskillin Reserve 2017 Cabernet Franc shows this elegance with fresh and zesty berry flavours, ripe raspberry, earthy florals, cinnamon, pepper spice, dried sweet tobacco with good acidity for food. Pour with barbecued spare ribs.

Cabernet Franc food pairings: grilled side ribs, bison burgers, lamb tagine.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Aromas of dark cherry and raspberry, along with hints of mocha, cedar, leather and spice. Full bodied on the palate, with some light tannins, and mouthwatering acidity, lovely ripe fruit on the palate with a hint of spice on the finish. Enjoy with any grilled meats.
