Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

The nose makes one feel that it's clearly new world. On the palate a touch of structure and a hint of herbs reminds me more of old world wines. The label says 13.5% but it has a heavier mouthfeel than that. A great buy at a great price. So well made.
Greg Hughes rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

A combination of Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon from an extremely reliable producer. It was aged in a mixture of French and American barrels; both new and used.
It is balanced and medium bodied.
Juicy and ripe, it has a pleasingly sunny and bright red hue.
Soft and approachable currant, red plum, bramble, licorice, and charcoal to the nose. Medium in body and fresh and fleshy fruit throughout.
Tasty and ripe, this would be a great wine to put with tomato based sauced or pork tenderloin.
Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

Lovely and balanced, and a great value! Aromas of currant, blackberry and a charcoal, smoky note. Medium bodied and smooth, with bright acidity and vibrant red fruit on the palate. Enjoy any grilled meats, like burgers, ribs, or pork tenderloin.
Caitlin Coleman rated this wine as 86/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour. Cassis, blackberry and bell pepper on the nose. Medium bodied with oaky notes on the palate. Velvety tannins with a medium finish.
