Falernia's Titón Single Vineyard Reserva Syrah from Elqui Valley is a flavoursome, medium to full-bodied red wine offering notes of charred mulberry, white pepper, pink grapefruit and warm granite. This dry wine displays tight but airy tannins and rounded fruit that will continue to develop over the next eight years. Serve it at room temperature with lamb burgers as the wine's intense character stands up to the gamey meat, or pair it with charcuterie where the wine's meaty complexity complements the cured meats. Winemaker Aldo Olivier crafts this Syrah from block 16 of the Titón Vineyard, creating a Chilean expression reminiscent of northern Rhône reds with dried oregano and cracked spice intensity. The wine's powdery, medium-long finish and lovely perception of brightness showcase remarkable quality despite moderate acidity. This concentrated, herbaceous wine represents excellent quality and will drink beautifully through 2034.

Reserva Syrah food pairings: lamburgers, tourtiere, meat pies charcuterie.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
