A Rheingau Riesling with concentrated orange blossom and dried apricot on the nose. You can sniff this one all day and not get tired of it. But, at some point you want to drink this beautifully balanced, crisp Riesling with its apricot compote, pink grapefruit and lemon curd with a long citrus a flinty minerality finish. This wine has some age on it already, but it could cellar for a few more years to further develop all of its complex layers together. Try it with some light curry dishes or smoked fish. Stunning concentration of orange blossom essence and dried apricot. Lovely lightness yet packed with flavour. Pair with seafood.

Perry rated this wine as 90/100
Stephen Andrews reviewed this wine as follows:

Tasted May 5, 2018. Colour light gold straw. Legs medium minus. Aromas and flavours of apricot, nectarine, grapefruit rind. Taste off dry ( halbtrocken), fruity tree fruits, light bodied, low alcohol, mouthwatering plus, finishes with lots of acidity and fruit. Easy to drink, waiting for Asian fair, Indian spice dishes and I am going to try it with egg rolls.
Domdechant Werner Hochheimer is a stunning Rheingau Riesling with orange blossoms and ripe apricot aromas. This is a dry, medium-bodied Riesling with lots of ripe stonefruit, citrus and flinty flavours on the palate. Zesty acidity makes this a fine food wine and pairing to smoked pork ribs and Spaetzle. - Community Wine Reviews
