The 2016 vintage of Cedarcreek Estate Winery’s Platinum “Block 2” is created from 100% Pinot Noir from a single vineyard (Block 2) and are 24 years old with grapes cropped to one cluster per shoot giving them the greatest chance of producing optimal yields of quality fruit. Aromas of dark red fruit and spice. Pir with roast chicken and veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Jennifer Havers - WSET Level 3 rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:

Tasted alongside the Block 4 Pinot Noir, also from 2016. Comparatively, this wine is a bit more fragrant and floral, but also with aromas of cherry, cranberry, leather and smoke. Medium bodied on the palate with vibrant acidity, and ripe fruit with a slight tart note, and more leather and spice on a lengthy finish. Lovely!! Enjoy with grilled salmon or lentil dishes.
