The Grenache and Vermentino wine grapes for this zesty vintage are hand-harvested from Chateau d'Esclans' vineyard. Grapes are manually sorted, destemmed and then gently crushed with no maceration, with the free fun and first pressed juice partially vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tank and 600 litre barrels or demi muids. Pretty pale pink in the glass, dry, with wild strawberries, red berries flavours on the palate, finishing lightly spiced and zesty. Promises of summertime.

Reviews and Ratings

Château D'esclans' Rock Angel rosé 2017 is produced by Domaines Sacha Lichine. Grenache and Rolle (Vermentino) wine grapes are sourced from the Provence wine region. Lovely Rainier cherry, white stone fruit flavours on this medium-bodied dry rosé finishing with a zesty acidity for food. Château D'esclans dates back to the château's site date back to the 1940s when its location served as a lookout point into the Gulf of Frejus. Chill and enjoy now. - Community Wine Reviews
