Reviews and Ratings

Carolyn Hetke rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

This Riesling eight years in is showing delicious notes of honey, petrol, ripe peach, apricot on the nose and the slightly waxy palate. On the sweeter end of the Spätlese spectrum you could enjoy this on its own. Tasted October 2019. www.thewineloverskitchen.com
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

An aged Riesling with mineral and petrol aromas and a spicy acidity that is typical of this grape variety. Cherry and other red berry flavours with a long finish. This will pair well with traditional German pork and ham dishes.
Bischöflichen Weingüter Trier Dom 2011 Riesling Spatlese is a zesty and intense Mosel Qualitätswein, spicy on the nose with orange blossom, lemon curd and flinty mineral flavours finishing long, and mouth-watering on the palate. Pair with grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
