White Wine

Fielding Estate Winery Unoaked Chardonnay 2008, V.Q.A., Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: A fresh, lively, mouth-watering white with mercifully no oak. Red Wine

Vintage Ink Wines Merlot Cabernet 2009, VQA Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, Canada: Remarkably great wine for the price! The toasty oak recedes as the dark red and black fruit aromas come forward: gorgeous layers of black cherry and black raspberry. Terrific acidity for food. Full-bodied and supple. Pair with: rich and full flavours, savoury steaks and roast beef, slow cooked beefor or pork, wild game with rich berry sauces, spice encrusted lamb, hearty aged cheeses. Drink: 2011-2015. 250209 13.40% XD 750 mL  $17.95 Score: 90/100. March 31, 2012 Plush Pork Wine Full Review Add to: Shopping List Cellar
