A lovely and elegant Tavel rose that's not as robust as others I've tasted. That is not to say it's wimpy. Lovely aromas of raspberries. Bone-dry and refreshing.

The rosés from Tavel are known generally for their remarkable depth of flavour due to the region’s unique microclimate that almost effortlessly produces fully ripened, beautifully generous fruit – a not-unremarkable accomplishment in the wine-growing regions of France. For those history buffs out there, Tavel rosés were a favourite of King Louis XIV as well as the writers Balzac and Mistral. Source: Vintages Wine Panel
