Located midway between the Hermann and St. James Wine Districts, Wenwood Farm Winery is just a few scenic miles off Highway 50 outside of the small village of Mt. Sterling. Less than 2 hours west of St. Louis County, forty five minutes east of Jefferson City, and an hour and a half northeast of the Lake of the Ozarks, Wenwood Farm Winery makes the perfect afternoon getaway or an enticing addition to your Missouri vacation.

Nestled in the hills on the northern edge of the Ozark Highlands, Wenwood Farm Winery is a fourth generation family farm. A former dairy, Wenwood Farm produced award winning Guernsey cattle for years in its scenic creek valley. Now, this generation's owners, Laura Neese and Thomas Kalb, produce another time-honored beverage - wine. Missouri is steeped in the winemaking tradition. Many an old farmer produced fine homemade wines when his wife was finished with the season's jelly-making, and Gasconade County was, before the turn of the last century, the largest commercial wine-producing county in the nation. So, come share our tradition, history and beauty, the good fun of our festivals, arts and music, and our award-winning wines as Wenwood Farm transforms from dairy to winery. And please remember that all important question - Got Wine?

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
