Located in the Eastern Townships, in Stanbridge-East, the domain was named by the founder of the vineyard, François Samray, native of the Ardennes.

The new owners, Lucie Larose & Gary Skinner, acquired the domain in July 2002. They devote considerable hours and efforts in order to accomplish their goal and also realize their dream.

"The outstanding quality of the products" and "A warm welcome" are two of the most important values for this family owned enterprise. The vineyard has been in operation since 1995. The 15,500 vine-stocks aligned on hillsides are beneficent from the mildness of nearby lake Champlain and amid a large pond bringing a micro-climate favorable to the numerous vine-plants such as: Marechal Foch, Chancellor, de Chaunac, white Seyval, Vidal, Riesling, Cayuga, Black Seyval, Muscat and a numbered Hybrid.

The vineyard is open year-round. The proprietors and their daughter reside at the domain in a centenary house permitting very flexible hours to visitors.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
