Established in 1983, The Georgia Winery is the first of its kind in Georgia, serving as a pioneer in the farm winemaking industry, leading other vineyards and wineries that have opened across the state in recent years. We are a family owned and operated facility producing award-winning fine wines. We specialize in capturing the fresh flavor of the fruit, resulting in our unique wines that explode with flavor and tantalize tastebuds across the nation. With over 20 different wines to choose from, ranging from dry to sweet, from light to full-bodied, we offer something for every discriminating taste. So bring your taste buds and come on in for a delightful visit with us. Our friendly faces are here to help you with your selections.
To capture the essence of the fruit, we employ our own special “freeze-fermentation” method which slows down the fermentation process and preserves the fruit flavor. This unique process serves as our mark of distinction and contributes to the remarkable popularity of our wines.
The Georgia Winery has now won over 200 medals in numerous commercial wine contests, competing with entries from around the world. Some of our most prestigious awards include “Best of Show”, “Best of Class”, “Double Gold”, and “Concordance Gold” and “Best of Blush” medals. Our success in these competitions has contributed to our gaining a prominent position in the vast world of wine.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
