At Six Strings, we create high quality handcrafted wines in small quantities that are inspired by great music. For us, the combination of an excellent wine and the sound of a well-played guitar culminates in a wine tasting experience that is unlike any other. Six Strings owners Iain Crabb and Gary Cornick are both guitarists who share a passion for making excellent wines in small lots that are inspired by great music.

Six Strings Winery Cofounders Iain and Gary
Our goal is to produce wines that are enjoyable, reasonably priced and have their own unique personality. We do this by selecting fruit from the best vineyards in the best locations and by keeping the production levels for each wine very limited. Our award-winning wines can be ordered direct from the winery and are also available in select restaurants, wine bars and wine retailers.Six Strings Winery Wins Silver and Bronze at the Largest Competition of American Wines in the World, Press Release

The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon was awarded a silver medal and the 2007 Pinot Noir was awarded a bronze medal in the 2010 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

  Best Books of the Year

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
