2009 Russian River pinot noir grapes arrive at Rosalynd Winery in Napa.

David White, winemaker at Rosalynd Winery, hard at work on the 2009 Russian River pinot noir harvest, crushing and destemming grapes. The fruit was harvested at 3:30 am, and brought to the winery just as the sun was rising. David White, the winemaker, carefully monitored the sugars, acid, and tannins during fermentation to bring out the fullest dimensions of this pinot noir. Pressing took one day (with the help of many friends), and the fermented juice was transferred to French oak barrels, where the 2009 vintage is currently moving through secondary fermentation.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
