The Rodrigue Molyneaux Estate Winery & Vineyard is owned and operated by Nancy & Garry Rodrigue.

Garry is the principal winemaker and vintner. An emeritus professor at UC-Davis in the Applied Sciences, Garry's background gives him the technical skills needed to understand the chemistry of making good wine. He loves to dig in the shelves of the campus libraries for the perfect book that will improve his wine. Mostly, he enjoys working as the vineyard manager, for he believes that good grapes are the key to good wine.

Our farming method is called ‘Reserve Grape Farming’ that requires intensive monitoring of the watering and pruning techniques. Keeping the yield down to the three tons or less per acre is our goal. Although the yield will be smaller, the grapes will be larger with more fruit flavor. This is the reason Rodrigue Molyneaux red wines are so robust with a fruit-driven complex flavor.

Garry & Nancy are almost always in the winery to answer questions or to just talk about their wine. They enjoy sharing their wine and invite experts and novices alike to come by on the weekends.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
