Located in St. Helena, CA, in the heart of the Napa Valley, we produce premium quality, small production wines.

As our last name Redmon portrays, we specialize in bordeaux style reds in lots that are typically under 400 cases per year. The Redmon Wines story begins in 1999, the year we (Scott and Lisa) tied the knot. That first year we made our first wine in a small garage in Saint Helena with the help of a family friend. We hand picked the grapes from our family vineyard, and with the help of a family friend, produced and bottled our first vintage.

The Redmon Vineyard was originally planted over 40 years ago with Cabernet Sauvignon grape vines from the classic era in Napa Valley. Originally cultivated as a dry farm, the Clone 6 vines were grafted onto a root system referred to as “root stock” named Saint George. This root stock is known to be resistant to a number of pests that have plagued the wine industry for decades.

WINNER: Redmon 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon wines Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco International Wine Competition.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
