Because we believe that a wine must have its own personality and character, in our 15 ha (37 acres) of vineyards we only grow the traditional grapes varieties from Douro. We also preserve the old vineyards, the oldest are over 100 years old, although less productive, they offer a superior wine concentration.

The Quinta da Sequeira’s success is the result of passion, devotion, determination and hard work. The quality control begins in the vineyard, and each step, from the viticulture to the winemaking process is subject to severe standards of exigency. To reach this level of excellence, we grow all of the grapes used to produce our wine, and all the winemaking process is totally developed by us, without any interference or external dependence. All of our wines are produced, aged and bottled on the estate.
